A project in January 2007 involved building a trade stand for The Ecobuild show at Earls Court.
I was approached by the client with 7 weeks till the show started with the most amazing architects drawings. Its size was 11 metres by 3 with staircase, walkway, and presentation seating area.

The walls were made by a shuttering system which was then sprayed with a unique blend of specially prepared hemp and a special lime based binder. The idea behind this new radical product is that Hemp can actually reverse the damaging effects of greenhouse gases by locking up harmful CO2 emissions within wall construction. The Hemp delivers high levels of insulation, airtightness and vapour permeability.
The whole stand took 4 Lorries to transport from Oxfordshire to London and one wall weighed in at 3 ½ tonne.
