About Us

Dan and Janette Barton have been running their own business for over 34 years. Specialising in the traditional repair of historic buildings for the past 27 years. Prior to this Dan was a cabinet maker and restorer of fine furniture. At the age of 18, Dan replicated a Burr walnut William and Mary style Bureau at college. It stands 9ft tall, has 41 drawers, 23 hidden compartments, and over 1,000 hand-cut dovetails. Janette specialises in the HR, Admin and Accountancy elements of the business.

Dan supported the team that renovated the stables for the Princess Diana memorial museum in 1998.
